Hi Zain,

the message KG076 means that user is trying to summarize data with different units of measure.

For example: The data which are processed (read from the database) have the UOM = BOT. But the new data which should be posted has the UOM = ' '. Since the UOM is not present in the planning level, then it is derived. Since the UOM is not derived (remains empty), the error message occurs. This is no error, this is the standard behaviour. Please add the UOM to the planning level or make sure, that the UOM can be derived form the available data (e.g. Product).

If the respective UOM is a part of your planning level, you always enter the UOM you want to use and enter the respective value of the quantity field which is related to the UOM you entered.
Thus you can plan with more UOM for one product (this represent more lines in layout in KEPM).
On the other hand when the UOM is not a part of the planning level, you enter only quantity and the related UOM is derived by the system based of your customizing.
So that in the first case the UOM is entered directly by user, in the second case it is calculated by the system automatically. There is no retranslation between different UOM. As soon as you have entered the planning data with the given UOM, this data exist and you cannot change somehow the UOM expecting recalculation. You can only change the quantity or enter new object with new UOM.
If the UOM is not part of the planning level and if you try to post data  with UOM initial then then it is derived. If UOM remains empty after derivation then the error occurs.

regards

Waman
