I'm also having the same issue. So from what you are saying, it's better to let users login  to home.html instead of index.html since index.html will not even redirect to home.html (where the true launch pad resides).

if this is the case, it really doesn't make sense that they didn't let index.html redirect to launchpage. It really doesn't make sense. Is there a way to edit the index.html page to direct to launchpage?
